muse 2013

In the summer of 2013 my chums (colleagues) and I went to a palaeontological dig set up by the Natural History Museum of Paris. It was deep in the French Burgundy territory, in the beautiful, green Morvan. The rocks are of late Carboniferous to early Permian age, we found a lot of plant and insect material, and we drank a lot during the day because such is France.
